AGM 2014

The AGM was another great night for the Society. Held at the RAF Club Piccadilly, and despite the tube strike, we had a good turnout and an excellent speaker in Bill Callaghan a current Beafeater in the Tower of London. It was Stanley Vaughan’s last meeting as a Committee Member and a vote of thanks was given by President Kate Banks for all his years of outstanding service. Stanley was also made an Honorary Member of the Society. The rumour that Stanley will now begin a ‘greatest hits’ tour of the provences is unsubstantiated!

Old Friend Kiran Mistry was elected President Elect and congratulations go to him. Old Friend Tina Russell was appointed Honorary Secretary and Old Friend Rob Green was elected to the Committee for the first time. Our thanks go to them both.
