What a Night! Rick Wakeman was the special guest at the Autumn Dinner of the Society of Old Friends held at the Grand Connaught Rooms on Friday 1st November. Over 120 members and guests enjoyed a splendid meal before the rocking entertainment from Rick commenced.

Accompanied by his keyboard, he amused everyone with hilarious stories and played some legendary classics he was involved with such as Morning has Broken and Life on Mars. He was so good that the audience cried out for an encore! President Kate Banks said it was one of the best evenings the Society had enjoyed over its long history of 104 years.

The main raffle prize of £100 was won by Old Friend Teddy Townsend who kindly donated it to the BOSS Benevolent Fund.
